Cemre is an Istanbul-based freelance journalist and project coordinator for theblacksea.eu. She works on cross-border investigations and narrative-driven stories on climate, human rights, and migration.
She started her career in 2019 doing video journalism and multimedia reporting for Bianet. She later worked with organizations such as the Media Research Association (MEDAR), Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, and the Media and Migration Association, where she developed skills in video production, research, and media project coordination. Her work included editing documentary series, producing video interviews on gender, media, and human rights, as well as managing and creating content for investigative journalism trainings.
Since 2022, Cemre has been with The Black Sea, where she coordinates and reports on cross-border investigations and manages partnerships on large-scale projects.
