Kristine Aghalaryan is a journalist working for the NGO the Investigative Journalists of Armenia, which publishes the online magazine Investigative www.hetq.am (hetq means footprint in Armenian).

She covers social, legal and mostly environmental issues. In 2012 she won a contest 'Sustainable Energy for All' organized by UNDP/GEF for an environmental investigative story on small hydro-electric plants and the owners of the plant.
