Claire Provost is an investigative journalist following the money in international aid and global development. She is currently a Bertha fellow at the Centre for Investigative Journalism in London, and was formerly four years at the Guardian.

Provost's has published in The Guardian, The Independent, and International Business Times, among other publications, reporting on human rights, development, and the impacts of multinational corporations from more than a dozen countries, from El Salvador to Ukraine.

Recent projects include investigations into the obscure international legal system that lets companies sue countries, and the growing role of multinational corporations in designing, delivering, and profiting from international aid efforts.

Provost holds degrees from Harvard and Columbia universities.
